Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This position requires a deep understanding of the IT consultancy landscape, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for technology. The Business Development Executive will work closely with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to develop and execute strategies that align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Lead Generation:
    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
    • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and other methods.
    • Qualify leads to assess their fit with the company’s services and potential for conversion.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Understand clients’ business challenges and objectives, and propose tailored IT solutions.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Sales & Negotiation:
    • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals and achieve sales targets.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of services.
  • Strategic Planning & Reporting:
    • Work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to develop and implement business development strategies.
    • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to refine strategies.
    • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue projections.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork:
    • Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials.
    • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of client needs and project specifications.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and business development practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the IT industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, solutions, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
